UP AND COMING NEW PRODUCTS
MANY MANUFACTURERS ANNOUNCE THE PENDING RELEASE OF NEW ITEMS SOMETIMES YEARS IN ADVANCE. AS OFTEN AS NOT THESE PENDING RELEASE DATES ARE NOT MET SOMETIMES OUT AS MUCH AS 30 MONTHS OR MORE. IT IS NOT OUR INTENTION TO DO THIS, BUT WE ARE LETTING THE MODELLER KNOW WHAT WE HAVE PLANNED AND PENDING SO THAT HE MAY PLAN HIS MODELLING KNOWING WHAT WILL BECOME AVAILABLE IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE ITEMS LISTED BELOW ARE EITHER IN PRE-PLANNING OR IN SOME STAGE OF DEVELOPMENT AND CAN BE EXPECTED WITHIN THE NEXT 6 TO 8 MONTHS. AS PHOTOGRAPHS BECOME AVAILABLE WILL WILL POST THEM TO THIS WEB SITE.
THE PREMIUM RANGE OF KITS LISTED BELOW WILL BE RELEASED IN THE NEXT 8 TO 12 MONTHS. THE ORDER OF RELEASE AND THE EXACT DATES ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF MATERIAL MANUFACTURED BY OTHER SUPPLIERS, BUT ALL KITS ARE IN SOME STAGE OF PRE-PRODUCTION. OTHER KITS IN N SCALE AND IN BOTH THE EXPRESS AND MINIKIT RANGE ARE ALSO COMING THIS YEAR.
GRAND TRUNK/CNR CLASS E STATION
The only station more numerous than the class E station was the Canadian Northern/Canadian National number three design. Because there were over 300 of "E" stations built there were many minor variations and probably no two were exactly alike, but were all still built to the class E plan. The kit is in pre production now but the release will depend on availability of materials from our sub contractors . We now expect it to be stores abut the end of April.. Kit features include Campbell shingles, laser cut Mt. Albert lumber, specially cast windows, doors, chimneys, and simulated concrete base, laser cut passenger platform etc. The footprint is about 10" x 7". Price is expected to be in the $75 to $85 range

CANADIAN PACIFIC 18 LEVER TOWER
This common building was found all over the Canadian Pacific system along with most other railroads in North America. It protected the main lines from crossings and interchanges both from the home road and other railroads. The 18 levers controlled up to 18 functions which included turnouts, signals, and sometimes crossing gates. We are now making the masters and we hope to have this at dealers in early 2010.
CANADIAN NATIONAL CLASS THREE STATION
Although we already have one version of this most popular station this will be built to Plan 100-29. Our previous release (kit #1028) is built to the Plan 100-253 but is as different as night and day. We are developing a stucco finish for the new version and we are still experimenting to get it perfect. We will post progress reports as the process is developed, buy we are very close now.
SOUTHERN PACIFIC SERVICE BUILDINGS
Up to now we have concentrated on Canadian Structures but this complex of small service building cought our eye and will make a fine addition to any layout. It features several types of siding and different roofing materials and is composed of 4 different buildings rolled into new structure. Early 2010 is the target date to have this in stores.
